A Message to the Church

Sorry guys it has been over a month now, and I just wanted to thank all of those out there who support what I do in the ministry through prayer and through support, I could not do this without you.
So I just wanted to take this time to encourage everyone back home. I hope that what I said at church and at Ruined the week before served only to encourage everyone. I had said some things that I hope challenged people to research what they believe and keep their faith fresh, I did not mean to offend anyone. If I did I am sorry. I just know that out of these last three months, the biggest thing that I am learning is to always remain teachable. Some of lifes greatest lies can be easily dismissed if only we go to God for the answer. I think one of the greatest weaknesses of todays Western Culture is to just take the speakers word for it and never question things ourselves. God calls us to be Boreans, to study everything. To "flesh it out" in other words. One of the greatest things that helps us do this is to have a childlike faith. To constantly ask questions, this was common in the Hebrew culture. I have noticed that when I do this I learn a bunch more. For instance if our goal is to be more like Jesus then we need to disect his life and live ours like his. So that is what I intend to do I am going to study the gospels from the mind of a hebrew if possible, and I want everyone who reads this to keep me accountable. I am going to attempt to study one chapter a week to start, and feel free to do it with me. I challenge you.
I just want to thank everyone again. It was so nice to be able to see everyone, and to meet Pastor Ross again, what a blessing! I know that Pastor Ross is the right fit for our chuch, just by the way he practices what he preaches, but as wise as the man as he is, I still challenge everyone to really weigh what he has to say with the scriptures. I am not saying he is unbiblical, I just want you to own what he says. I believe that if you do this, and then live it out during the week, you all will be benefit in the end. Remember love keeps each other accountable, so please lovingly show each other where we need to improve. Please do not forget to pray for the others out there; Preston, Nick, Brandon, Caydee, the Windom's, the Stolzfus', Lori, and the Brittany's. Miss you guys, and I cannot wait to see everyone again! Love, Kyle
