Bogotá continued...(Bogotá continuación...)

This past week has been really busy. After the children at risk ministry in the mountains, we traveled back to the YWAM base in Bogotá to pack and then head off to our next location in Santa Fe, a suburb of Bogotá. There we worked with a church planting family and fell in love with the ministry, as well as the church there.-The hospitality was wonderful, as we have grown used to here in Colombia, and the staff were especially outgoing.-Our time there was spent interceding for the neighborhood, doing friendship evangelism at a café, and putting on a church service for their home church. The café and church are run out of the first story of their three story house. Talk about a devoted couple. The neighbors, friends and church members were just as amazing. One of our favorite times was catching up with the family of our friend who is doing DTS in Cartegéna. Then we traveled back to the YWAM base to repack and then head of to another children at risk ministry here in Bogotá. It happened to be the same ministry that Malissa -my co-leader- had origionally wanted to come to Colombia for, but God told here to wait and come with the DTS. Many of our students had their passions stirred here. Some to do a Children at Risk School with YWAM, and others to maybe come back and partner with the ministry. Most of the work here that we did was work projects sanding and painting a fence. However, the first day we did work in the school and the drop-in center, doing programs and helping out in anyway that we could. Today is a day off technically, but half the team and I have opted to go early to the ministry that we worked with last weekend (the church planting couple). We will be doing friendship evangelism tonight, and tomorrow night. As well as doing two church services, one on Saturday and one on Sunday. Then on Monday we have a fun day planned for the students. I hope to write again then.

Esta última semana ha sido realmente ocupado. Después de que el ministerio de niños en situación de riesgo en la montaña, que viajó de regreso a la base de JUCUM en Bogotá para empacar y luego la cabeza a nuestra próxima ubicación en Santa Fe, un suburbio de Bogotá. Allí trabajó con una plantación de iglesias y la familia se enamoró de el ministerio, así como la iglesia there.-La hospitalidad fue maravilloso, como lo hemos acostumbrado a aquí en Colombia, y el personal son especialmente outgoing.-Nuestro tiempo, se gastó intercediendo por el barrio, haciendo amistad evangelismo en un café, y la puesta en servicio de una iglesia de su casa iglesia. El café y la iglesia se ejecutan fuera de la primera historia de sus tres pisos. Hable acerca de un joven dedicado. Los vecinos, amigos y miembros de la iglesia son tan sorprendentes. Uno de nuestros favoritos veces se captura con la familia de nuestro amigo que está haciendo Discipulado en la Escuela de Formación de Cartagena. Luego viajó a la base de JUCUM Vuelva a la cabeza y luego a otro de los niños en situación de riesgo ministerio aquí en Bogotá. Pasó a ser el mismo ministerio que Malissa-mi-co-líder origionally había querido venir a Colombia, pero Dios le dijo que esperar aquí y vienen con la Escuela de Formación de Discipulado. Muchos de nuestros estudiantes se habían despertado sus pasiones aquí. Algunos de hacer una Escuela de niños en situación de riesgo con JUCUM, y quizás a otros a regresar y colaborar con el ministerio. La mayor parte del trabajo que hicimos fue proyectos de trabajo de lijado y la pintura una valla. Sin embargo, el primer día que hicimos el trabajo en la escuela y la deserción escolar en el centro, haciendo programas y ayudar en cualquier manera que podamos. Hoy es un día de descanso técnicamente, pero la mitad del equipo y yo hemos optado por ir pronto para el ministerio que hemos trabajado con el fin de semana pasado (la mayor plantación de iglesias). Vamos a hacer esta noche la amistad de evangelismo, y mañana por la noche. Así como hacer dos misas, una el sábado y una el domingo.
